Campaign Priorities
- Encouraging more middle housing, like cottage courts and duplexes, using the city's new comprehensive plan as a launchpad for the incentives and process changes needed to actually get it built
- Building on the homelessness study she helped launch and complete, aimed at creating safe, welcoming public spaces
- Finishing the work of identifying the city's highest-impact wildfire mitigation priorities
- Pushing the city's shift to outcome-based budgeting further, so funding is more clearly tied to program results
- Bringing diverse voices into policymaking, drawing on her school board and council experience that different perspectives lead to better policy
- Tackling years of deferred maintenance on city infrastructure that have caught up with Boulder
- Keeping close watch on how the city collects and shares data, especially amid changes at the federal level
